08/05/2023Monday DiscussionWe want to hear your views on “Is there an aspect of Cosplay Community or you’ve seen at comic con you want to understand more about and why?”
One area that comes to mind is the social dynamics of the cosplay community and how people build relationships and connect with others through their shared interests in cosplay and related fandoms.
For example, it might be interesting to understand how people form cosplay groups or “cosplay families” and what role these relationships play in their cosplay experiences. Additionally, it could be insightful to explore how the cosplay community navigates issues such as inclusivity, diversity, and representation, and how these issues intersect with broader social and cultural trends.
Another area of potential interest could be the intersection of cosplay and entrepreneurship, as many cosplayers have turned their passion into a profession by creating and selling costumes, props, and other merchandise. Understanding the business models and creative processes behind successful cosplay-focused businesses could be a fascinating topic to explore.
Overall, the cosplay community offers many avenues for exploration and research, and there is always more to learn about this vibrant and creative subculture.

01/05/2023Monday DiscussionWe want to hear your views on “Would you still work with someone if you know they’ve had any negative comments and why?”
If the negative comments are related to unethical behaviour, discrimination, or harassment, it may be appropriate to reconsider working with that person. On the other hand, if the negative comments are related to performance or other minor issues, it may be worth considering the person’s strengths and abilities, as well as any steps they may have taken to address the concerns that led to the negative comments.
Ultimately, the decision to work with someone who has received negative comments should be based on a thorough evaluation of the situation and an assessment of whether that person would be a good fit for the particular job or project at hand.

Waiting for photos from a photographer that were taken at a comic con, can be an exciting but also an anxious time. Waiting for photos can be part of the photography experience. It’s essential to trust the photographer you work with and believe that they will deliver the best images possible.
Most Comic Con Photographers are not Full-Time photographers but take photos as part of their hobby, so with that in mind, how long would you wait, do you have a deadline for which you are no longer interested in the photos, is there a set time you’d wait before asking or you are happy to receive them no matter the length of time?
