I've had an emotionally rough few days⠀ ⠀ What happened? It's laughable, but I wasn't living up to my own expectations. I was struggling to find the time in the day for all the goals I want to accomplish and I felt like my ambition was exceeding my capacity. I went to bed anxious, unfocussed, and full of the typical existential dread we all face as humans. It's rare I ever feel this way, but when I do it's like a pit of despair with no end in sight. ⠀ ⠀ Today? I feel like a new person with a clear aim and a solid grasp on what I need/want to do in this life. To become who you want to be you have to reinvent yourself constantly, you have to be a little bit better than you were yesterday.⠀ ⠀ You have to break your limits, raise them, then break them again and again. That's the fundamental principle of strength training known as progressive overload, and it strengthens so much more than the body.
