What is your favourite food? I love steak… So much.. And grilled chicken.. And lasagna. Please don’t make me choose!
You have cosplayed a number of characters ranging from armoured, fabric costumes and even with a certain level of prosthetics, what attracts you to the characters you cosplay and which one has been the least comfortable costume you’ve worn?
Hmm. Good question: I guess I’m attracted to characters themselves but for the Cosplays themselves it’s down to the intricacies of the outfit and where they connect. I love armour outfits but I always find them challenging to wear- and the key to any good outfit is fitting..other than armour I think it’s more “can I rock it?” And feel confident in it?
I have to say the least comfortable to wear has been Thane from Mass Effect. Looks amazing but there was a serious lack of ventilation even when it was cold.
You recently took up photography, have you found that being a cosplayer has helped with photos? What advice would you give to any cosplayers who would like to pick up a camera?
Oh definitely.. I was a photographer before I was a cosplayer so I knew what I wanted. I guess it really depends.. I feel being a cosplayer has made me a good photographer and vice versa. I would encourage anyone to wear a costume and be in front of the camera and then be behind the lens so you can then see the bigger grander picture.
Which is your favourite shop to buy supplies from?
Coscraft. Guilty as charged. And I love being charged by them.
