Post apocalyptic style costumes are pretty popular at the moment but one of the best I have seen is British cosplayer, Spectre Cosplay. His cosplays are always so on point and I love taking photos of him when he’s in cosplay.

Most of your costumes seem to be post apolcalyptic themed, what is it about this genre that appeals to you?
I like the post apocalypse theme because it always has interesting, elaborate characters. And it’s always interesting to see how a post apocalyptic world would look in a video game, movie or tv show.
A lot of your cosplays involve a lot of fake dirt, bruises and cuts. For anyone who isn’t really sure how to start/where to begin with this kind of thing can you give an outline on how you make yourself look battered for a costume?
I make myself look battered mostly with face paint, and sometimes things like maskara or special fx blood for realistic looking cuts. My best advice to anyone would be to do some research on youtube, and ask some friends for advice because that was the most useful thing for me.
You have a lot of fake weapons in your costumes, have you ever had any issues with these when you are out and about?
I haven’t really had issues with my fake props before. I always make sure they are concealed when i am not on a con floor.
Name a shop/website that you would like to recommend to other cosplayers.
A good shop I’d recommend for fake gun props is justbbguns.com This is where i buy my realistic looking firearms for cheap smile emoticon
